ORDERING FOR CHRISTMAS FAQ

Q When is the best time to order for Christmas?

You can now order anytime for Christmas Delivery. At the checkout you can simply select for Christmas delivery and we will dispatch near to Christmas for you. Choices are:

  1. Christmas Pre-Order. Dispatch week beginning Dec 2nd
  2. Christmas Pre-Order. Dispatch week beginning Dec 9th
  3. Christmas Pre-Order. Dispatch week beginning Dec 16th

    Q When is the last day I can order for Christmas delivery?

    If you order before 9pm on Sunday 15th of December you will be guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Orders after that date are not guaranteed to be dispatched for Christmas delivery, however we will endeavour to get all orders delivered in time. 


    Q Will the cheese be fresh for Christmas  if I order from you now?

    Yes, we store all the cheese in refrigeration until we prepare them. The cheeses will all have 2- 3 months date on them when you get them, are waxed and are fine to travel to get to you, especially at this colder time of year. We would advise that you don’t leave a gift box or hamper under a warm Christmas tree for a few days though, just the same as you wouldn’t leave cheese there either! 

    You could always take the cheese out of a box and pop them in the fridge too if you can

    Q So can I order from you now and you will hold my order for me, posting it out nearer to Christmas?

    Yes, We will take your order now and schedule it for Xmas delivery.

    Q So when do you actually deliver for Christmas?

    We are now processing orders until 16th December and dispatching orders most days from 9th December every day until Friday 20th December.

    We cannot guarantee which day your order will actually be delivered on, but you will receive an email notification with a tracking link on the evening that your order is dispatched from Arran.

    Q Can I pay over the phone?

    Yes, You can call us on 01770 303556 between 12am – 4pm,  Wed  – Saturday and we can take your order.

    Q Can I track my order?

    Yes of course! Every order we post will have a tracking link. We use Parcelforce for large packages (over 2kg) and Royal Mail for packages under 2kg.

    Q Do you deliver outside the UK?

    Unfortunately, we don’t at present, but it is on our radar to organise for next year.
